We empower and equip young people to build ownership around safety and justice to drive meaningful change in their communities.

Access to justice remains out of reach for many marginalized individuals across the globe. In Kenya, the situation is particularly concerning, with high youth crime rates and a staggering 75% of prisoners being under the age of 30. Troubled by these alarming statistics, Peter was driven to create a movement dedicated to addressing justice accessibility, crime prevention, and social justice. Crime Si Poa aims to bridge the gap and offer meaningful solutions to ensure a just and safe world for all.

Our approach

We passionately believe in the transformative impact that positive support and intervention has on individuals and communities.  Our approach that focuses on children, youth and adults is built on these three key pillars:

Awareness Creation

This priority area focuses on raising awareness about crime trends , crime and its consequences and legal empowerment through in-person and online platforms. This enhances a culture of accountability and the rule of law in the society.

Skills Development and Application

Our focus in this area is on skill transfer through ICT, paralegal and business skills training as well as talent development for sustainable career pathways.

Behaviour Change

We prioritize holistic transformation of at risk and incarcerated individuals through mental wellness sessions to help reduce incidences of criminality and recidivism.
